In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic declared by the World Health Organisation and the related exceptional and temporary measures taken by the Portuguese Government, AFMA has adopted a contingency plan aiming to (i) prevent, contain e mitigate the risk of contagion, protecting the health of our staff clients and business partners; and (ii) simultaneously ensure efficiency and responsiveness of our services.

In this context, AFMA is currently operating on a teleworking basis, reducing our physical presence in the office to a minimum. Our lawyers are available by e-mail, telephone and other electronic means. AFMA general phone number remains active and all calls will be directed to the recipients. Meetings are taking place remotely, by videoconference or Skype.

We are convinced that the measures adopted are an essential contribution to fight this emergency. We will continue to monitor the development of the situation in the expectation that we can all resume the normality of our activity and our lives.

We do not guarantee immunity. We guarantee prudence, solidarity and dedication.

We don't promise the vaccine. We promise resilience, competence and overcoming.

We will continue together at a distance. We count on all. We count on you.
